Very well done. Nice arrangement and loved the melodies. Only suggestion i could say is the mix in a few points is a bit muddy but very well done overall. Keep it up.

Thanks a lot!

wonderfully moody

sounds great man i am no pianist but it seems as though you are turning out to be quite the composer. Even though I love seeing your piano work, i think it would be pretty wicked if you would kick up your old techno roots again ;) maybe at some point if you fall back into that groove we could try a collab.

Musical-Memoirs responds:

Thanks :D
I do have some electronic pieces in my mind to try (they might only be a total different type from what i used to make after such a long time with great focus on classical compositions), only just cant seem to find the time for it... since piano music doesnt cost me much extra time since i have to practice the piano anyway, so almost all i do is write for the piano (and my computer screen broke recently too...)
so some day you will hear some new techno too, after all, i want to keep my musical feeling in a very wide range of music and not limiting myself to one thing

but piano music works great with electronical stuff too, so that would also be possible for a collab?
might be doing such a thing with d-chain too if we finally make a start on it

keep at it

i have to agree with xivicxs, this has potential for several songs instead of one. the song up till 11 seconds is one, the bass line type synth another. and then the synthesized organ is another, different progressions make it hard for them to mesh well. hopefully u get what i mean. keep at it lots of potential

Thank you for the advice. :)

great

sounds great, love the voice guys. what program did you use to mod it?

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks! We do use pitch correction a bit (which you can find in various programs from Logic Studio to Cubase). On contrary to what the public may think, about 99.9% of songs that are professionally produced use some form of pitch correction. So we are relying on it less and less as we find the time to practice and mix the vocals better.

Thanks again!

nice

not to shabby man, first of you that i have heard, but im liking it. usually i find crowd effects to be really cliche but you pulled it off. the main synth sounds like its clipping a bit causing some distortion so might wanna check your eq levels but other than that nice track, nice melody and rythyme. 4/5

sweet

wicked. that is all lol. and for the record to clarify Dota was built on the tune of another song. pretty rave girl could very well be the name, im jsut to lazy to think :p

Catstuffer responds:

yea, its pretty rave girl, or daddy dj.... they all the same tune really....

Thanks for ur review!

i know watcha mean

look man, dont let dumbasses get you down. just move past it and make music for the joy of music not for some retard blamming everything he hears. i get what your saying but dont let a few retards get at you. i have the same issue. noone likes to write reviews for some reason.

spyderbrd responds:

Thanks bro. and by the way.... this isnt really my work. i just screwed around and played Random ass notes.

not bad

not to bad, i love the strings in it but this wasnt quite as good as your other songs in my opinion. still good but not as good as youve put out.

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks for the review! Be sure to check out our myspace for more stuff, if you haven't already.

wow

truly beautiful in every aspect. i havnt heard the original but everything right down to the description was well written and composed elegantly. Unlike the others i wont say sorry for your loss for thats simply a stage of life, we lose and gain as we go on to find biggger and better things even though they may be hard to see at the moment. This song is incredible.

Dj-Flux responds:

The original is just the piano part, and I didn't even notate any of the original.

I'm glad you enjoyed the song.

not bad

Not a bad song, the patterns are well done and the synth selection isnt to bad, the intro seems like a familiar beat though i cant place it. seems almost christmasy to me, then again ive been known to be a bit crazy so its all good. Id say add some more depth to your songs, more bass and some panning effects if your using fl look into the fruity peaker and automation clips. im sure theres the equivalent in other programs i just dont know what they are. But anyways, a half decent track, keep at it this is a pretty good start for this genre.
