Not bad, looking forward to the finished product.

Brilliant all around. I listened once and then played along the second time just for fun. Beautiful melodies.

Very well done. Nice arrangement and loved the melodies. Only suggestion i could say is the mix in a few points is a bit muddy but very well done overall. Keep it up.

Thanks a lot!

wonderfully moody

sounds great man i am no pianist but it seems as though you are turning out to be quite the composer. Even though I love seeing your piano work, i think it would be pretty wicked if you would kick up your old techno roots again ;) maybe at some point if you fall back into that groove we could try a collab.

Musical-Memoirs responds:

Thanks :D
I do have some electronic pieces in my mind to try (they might only be a total different type from what i used to make after such a long time with great focus on classical compositions), only just cant seem to find the time for it... since piano music doesnt cost me much extra time since i have to practice the piano anyway, so almost all i do is write for the piano (and my computer screen broke recently too...)
so some day you will hear some new techno too, after all, i want to keep my musical feeling in a very wide range of music and not limiting myself to one thing

but piano music works great with electronical stuff too, so that would also be possible for a collab?
might be doing such a thing with d-chain too if we finally make a start on it

keep at it

i have to agree with xivicxs, this has potential for several songs instead of one. the song up till 11 seconds is one, the bass line type synth another. and then the synthesized organ is another, different progressions make it hard for them to mesh well. hopefully u get what i mean. keep at it lots of potential

Thank you for the advice. :)

sweet

Pretty sweet harmony youve got going on at the start. nice clean and simple, definitely feeling this beat. love the drop around 1:24 very smooth and well done. The first gap in the song fit well but the next 2 i wasnt feeling so much, maybe a small fill in there would make it flow a bit better. overall pretty decent tune man keep it up.

needs work

You need to work a bit on the eq, and especially near the end your "hard synth" was a bit like a washed out lead. Better synth selection and this would be pretty good, nice melody going on just need to work a bit on getting the right sound.

MM

great

sounds great, love the voice guys. what program did you use to mod it?

ApproachingNirvana responds:

Thanks! We do use pitch correction a bit (which you can find in various programs from Logic Studio to Cubase). On contrary to what the public may think, about 99.9% of songs that are professionally produced use some form of pitch correction. So we are relying on it less and less as we find the time to practice and mix the vocals better.

Thanks again!

wicked

Nicely done man, finish this up. great as usual

nice

not to shabby man, first of you that i have heard, but im liking it. usually i find crowd effects to be really cliche but you pulled it off. the main synth sounds like its clipping a bit causing some distortion so might wanna check your eq levels but other than that nice track, nice melody and rythyme. 4/5
